Heather Long was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at State College of Florida. She worked as a registered nurse for several years within Manatee County. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus in family medicine at Florida State University. She has a background in allergy and immunology. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and local NP organizations. She enjoys time with her husband and two children, boating and fishing.
